About Us

Next Gen Publishing Ltd was incorporated in October 2004 and commenced operations from January 2005 with the promise of offering the finest in the field of publishing. Over time, not only have our B2C titles, Car India, Mother & Baby India (licensed from Bauer Media), Bike India, Computer Active (licensed from Incisive Media), Smart Photography , Ideal Home & Garden, set trends in their categories, they have also earned considerable critical acclaim. In order to engage with a new set of readers and enthusiasts, Next Gen operates state of the art websites for 3 of its publications viz Smart Photography (www.smartphotography.in), Bike India (www.bikeindia.in).In the recent past we have launched Power Watch India which joins Commercial Vehicle in building our B2B magazine portfolio.

Many of our brands have been successfully leveraged with the NDTV Profit Car India & Bike India Awards , the Uniross Smart Photography Awards and the Apollo CV Awards shows. Smart Photography and Computer Active had also jointly conducted the inaugural Digital Imaging Technology Exposition at Pragati Maidan in January 2007.

Next Gen's Business Directories SBU publishes the annual Forbes Yellow Pages in an attractive, easy to use, comprehensive and well-produced format business directory of large, medium and small enterprises. No wading through voluminous directories, no hassles. That apart we used contemporary technology and standards for such a service. The info is updated, real time and available 24/7.It has everything under the sun about your city (at present in Ahmedabad and New Delhi). Shops, movies, restaurants, hospitals, emergency services...if you cannot get it on Hello45, it does not exist!

Next Gen’s BPO division services a big ticket corporate entity – NG Callcenter for a leading Telecom company of India for voice-based processes for North India.

All this has been achieved in a little over five years. But as can be expected of a company of young men and women, there is an irresistible air of creative restlessness that eddies around our work spaces: “we are young” it says. “Lets move on,” it demands. So, propelled by this tide, if one might say, of youthful exuberance Next Gen has taken a leap into the future, backed by two of the most respected business houses in the country namely the Shapoorji Pallonji group and HDFC. Next Gen reiterates its commitment to bring you the finest in publishing across media platforms, this time with an additional, “in ways that are yet to be invented".
