Before you consider being a part of the
Next Gen family you need to take a hard
look at the kind of company we are: the
values we represent, the ambitions we
chase and the culture that at once binds
and liberates us. Just facts, no flab.
So, here it goes: we are
a company of young people, around 500
employees averaging 26 years.. 500 and
counting.
We took off in January 2005
with 4 people who shared a big dream.
Today, we are a Rs 20-crore company with
four lines of business: Yellow Pages,
Special Interest Publications, Events,
and BPO. And seven brands.
Among them are Forbes Yellow
Pages and seven market-leading publications,
across areas as diverse as photography,
automotive, personal technology and lifestyle.
Seven and counting.
We have recently launched
FHM, the world's most sought after men's
magazine with a global sale running into
millions across geographies. This year,
we plan to bring out many more niche publications.
In 2008, we aim to launch
companion websites for each of our publications
apart from the existing fhmindia.com,
computeractive.in, and fyp.in. Next Gen’s
digital team is young, trendy, and extremely
talented, and this is borne out in our
websites.
So, what accounts for the
Next Gen phenomena? Is it planning, execution,
foresight, the quality of its leadership,
drive, enterprise? Sure, it is all of
this. And more.
Put simply, Next Gen is
an inspiring place to be in, a workplace
that encourages creative dare and zings
with youthful energy. A cultural oomph
we all enjoy every day of our working
lives.
What would you have
to give to be a part of a company such
as this?
To start with, just your CV!
